The almost declared position of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Chairman for Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa has come in for a fresh application suggesting the name of SV Rajendra Singh Babu. Kannada Film Producers Association, Kannada Film Directors Association and Kannada Film Producers Arts and Sport Association are strongly vouching for SV Rajendra Singh Babu name to the chairman of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

According to sources the government has to officially announce the name of Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa. All of a sudden the new development has come up.

The KFPA, KANFIDA and Cultural club of Film Producers recommending the name of national acclaimed director SV Rajendra Singh Babu for Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Chairman position. A meeting at the Bell Hotel on Wednesday evening decided to submit a memorandum to Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri Siddaramaiah.

At the press meet Krishne Gowda, Ba Ma Harish, BR Keshava, Nandihal, Jayasimha Musuri and others were present to address media.
